Culture Week in Kenyatta university is a co-curricular activity that is filled with entertainment and creative activity. It commences with a Locals and foreign participates in this event. Kenyatta University students, various entertainers and companies showcase their talents.
About us
In the 1977, the University (Then Kenyatta College) celebrated the Annual Cultural Festival for the first time. It was after the realization that the 25 different departments were organizing and celebrating separate creative and cultural activities and performances at the departmental level.
Effective Teamwork
The week provides an opportunity for Kenya to celebrate her great cultural wealth, and takes the audience through a journey of Kenya’s and across- section of the world’s cultures and traditions. The festival envisages a situation whereby the cultural event enhances knowledge

THE CULTURE WEEK FESTIVAL SINCE 1992
The festival takes the audience through a journey of Kenya’s cultures and traditions through a variety of expressions of the performing arts, thereby enhancing knowledge in cultural diversity and promoting cultural tolerance for peaceful coexistence and development.
